Ark Special Event July 13: Real Stories: Teen and Pre-Teen Trauma in Our Community
July 13, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Childhood and teen suicide is at an all-time high. The Ark has worked with domestic violence prevention, anger management, boundaries, and suicide prevention for many years. Talking with community leaders and those who work with children has brought to light some startling statistics and truths. We all recognize the need for action now to help our children handle situations in their lives. We want to start the conversation.
We invite parents, grandparents and guardians to bring their children to this event. This first gathering will include Rev. Stephen Wiley and Kevin Grober sharing information and experiences.
Our focus is to face the truths of these hurting children, the reasons behind their pain and frustrations and find creative ways for them to express themselves. The Ark will serve as a safe place to discuss concerns and share feelings through music, art, poetry and dance.
The public is encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served. For more information please call 918-682-8411 and ask for Sally.
