ARK NEEDS FOR AUGUST 2019 Donate Online or CALL: 918-682-8411
- FINANCES – for Fall weatherization and minor building repairs, materials for Fall and Winter programs.
- DAILY PRAYER – intercessory prayer, prayers for Ark staff, and prayers for our FREEDOM initiative of suicide prevention for kids and youth in our community.
- VOLUNTEERS – we need you for administrative tasks, food services, housekeeping this summer. Especially needed: TUESDAY RECEPTIONIST who can also file (paper + computer) and help with computerized reports 10am-3pm. This could be a job share.
- PAST COFFEEHOUSE PERFORMING ARTISTS – We want more encore appearances at Lamplighter on Old Favorites Fridays the 4th Friday of each month this year. Let us know when you are available to schedule.
- K-12 BACK TO SCHOOL – Backpacks, funds, new and gently used CHILDREN’S BOOKS (K-12), and school supplies; volunteers for set up, reception/intake, and to assist families with item selections.
- PILLOWCASE DRESSES – new and gently used cotton pillowcases or pillowcase dresses for girls – tall to short in small, medium and large sizes. The Ark donates these to missions in Africa, India, Mexico, and Thailand.
- VETERANS – guitars, ukuleles, autoharps (or funds for) to donate to those who learn them in our Thursday veterans’ guitar classes and get to keep the instrument they learn; also toiletries, art supplies, games, etc.
