Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in August: Thanks to local restaurants and their suppliers for the food we serve at meals.  Many of our donors gave anonymously and stated, “use for whatever is needed”, and we are grateful as utilities have increased! Thanks to all Muskogee churches who wish to remain anonymous that mailed financial assistance or who keep calling to ask what the Ark needs. Many thanks to you who donated supplies and funds toward our Back to School event being done by appointment this year to keep everyone safe from coronavirus. We so appreciate those of you buying, shipping, and making masks for the homeless and children preparing for Back to School – Dr. Ted Hine, Becky Woelper Tallent, the Wells family, Steven Fry… Thanks also to the DHS workers who come to the Ark to assure paperwork and referrals are validated. The Ark exists because of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and EACH of you – all ethnicities, skin colors, and cultures, all your gifts, skills, talents, and prayers. We thank you for your dedication as we continue to do the Matthew 25:35-40 work of caring for our neighbors as if doing it for our Savior.

SPECIAL NOTE:

In the 6 months we have been open during the pandemic, there has not been a single person participating who was diagnosed with COVID.

Thanks to everyone for wearing masks and cooperating with our safety precautions!

 

Thanks to you who answered God’s call for Ark needs in July: Thanks to local restaurants and their suppliers for all the food we serve.  We bless you daily. Thank you, to donors who increased your giving and wrote on checks and PayPal notes that you can do that because of receiving unexpected blessings. To the church families of our staff and leadership as we’ve met in person for the first time in months: Thank you for ALL complying with our mask, glove, and distancing rules.  We thank God for safety in all the social and political unrest and for our prayer partners of all ages and social/ethnic backgrounds.

A shout out to Bernice Walker (103), Mary Wynn, and the Wilcoxen, Chuculate, McBride, and Rector families. (The Rectors restored the historic Acee Blue Eagle murals upstairs.) An unexpected miracle was a donation of $5000 from Lona Valley Church. Please forgive us for not naming more of You this month. We’ll mention you, soon.

The Ark exists because of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and EACH of you – all ethnicities, skin colors, and cultures, all your gifts, skills, talents, and prayers. We thank you for your 40+ years of dedication in His love. We’ll thank you for more joint efforts as we continue the Matthew 25:35-40 work of caring for our neighbors as if doing it for our Savior.

We bless the participants who both comply with our virus prevention steps to keep everyone safe and volunteer – this month with newsletter mailing and prepping and painting office and dining furniture. We appreciate husband and wife team volunteers working evenings in our flower beds. Thanks to you who continue to pray daily and those who donate food and funds for utilities and building care.  Much gratitude to the Ray’s House residents who maintain our grounds.

Thank you for your help with cleaning, vacuuming, and disinfecting.  We thank our telephone prayer partners and counsellors. Great appreciation for you who continue to pray daily and those who donate food and funds for utilities and building care.  Much gratitude to the Ray’s House residents who maintain our grounds. Our joy and thanks to the couple who donated $1000 unexpectedly, at a time that it was so needed.
